Thank you for taking the time to visit my site. My name is Derek Carr, a 29 year old Graphic Artist from Louisville Kentucky. For the past decade, I've worked in the creative field as a Graphic Artist and Multimedia Specialist. During the day, I work for Northrop Grumman Technical Services as the Senior 3d Artist, Flash Developer, & lead a team of six for our USAF Distance Learning contract. In the evenings my talent is funneled to freelance projects that range from camera ready screen-print artwork to 3d animation. My career began in the offset printing field, moved to screen printing, and is now affiliated with all things digital media.
On a regular basis, I visit the local ITT Technical Institute of which I graduated Valedictorian to lecture and demonstrate some of the latest technology, software and techniques to students. Passing on my knowledge has always been a passion and the drving force behind this website. My hopes are that through articles and tutorials, this website will save people time; no matter the project.
